Evony Duty Officer Generals can be assigned to specific buildings to provide various benefits. They support multiple aspects of gameplay, including city development, technology research, healthcare, and military operations.
Different generals are suited to different positions, and even within the same role, each general offers unique effects. When choosing a Duty Officer, it’s important to compare their special skills and specialties to find the best fit for your needs.

How to Get Officers in Evony?
Ⅰ. King's Party Event
The newly added duty generals will be put in the rewards for level 10 of the event's cake.
You need to purchase basic gems (buying various gift packs directly is more cost-effective) during the event to level up your party cake.
Ⅱ. Officer General Chest
Note: Not all gold Officer General Chests have the same selectable generals. It's recommended that you carefully check each chest to see if your desired general is included.
- Historic Generals Gather Event
You can find the event on the Valuable Event page. Purchase the package to get the summoning orders. Then, use 1,200 summoning orders to redeem 1 Officer General Chest. Redeem chance is 4.

- Valuable Event - Successive Purchase Benefits
Choose the "General Lottery Chest" as your ultimate prize, then purchase all packages to unlock it. Open the chest, you will have a chance to receive an Officer General Chest.
- Event Center - Sealed Imperial Treasury
Using Treasure Keys to dig for treasure in the Imperial Treasures interface will earn you Empire Ancient Coins, which can then be used to redeem items in the Relic Trading Post.
3,400 coins can be exchanged for 1 Officer General Chest. Only one redemption is allowed during the event.
The general in this chest is the same as the general in Historic Generals Gather event's officer chest.
Treasure Keys can be obtained by purchasing packages or by completing specific tasks in the Treasure Trial interface to increase your trial level and claim rewards. Level 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 in the trial all reward different amounts of Treasure Keys; purchasing privileges will grant even more.
- Event Center - Grace of Star Trail
During the event, you can use the Star Trail Coin to draw for rare rewards.
After accumulating 400 draws, you can claim an Officer General Chest.
The general in this chest is the same as the general in the officer chest in the Clash of Civilizations Shop.

The Level 4 limited rewards for this event include a Military Strategist Historic General Chest.
You need to collect the "Expedition Lantern" to explore the tomb to get a chance of receiving the chest.
So, how to obtain the "Expedition Lantern"?
Complete daily tasks to claim it. (Tasks that reward lanterns include: daily login, train 500 troops, cultivate generals 10 times, refine equipment 10 times, and defeat monsters 6 times.)
Purchase packages to get it. (A Tomb Expedition Rare Package has 50 lanterns, and a Tomb Expedition Epic Package has 500.)
You must obtain all the limited rewards at each level to unlock the next level, and there is a certain guarantee mechanism.
The specific rules of which are as follows:
You must select your ultimate prize before the tomb expedition.
The tomb has 5 levels, each with 4 limited rewards and 4 common rewards. Common rewards can be obtained repeatedly, while limited rewards have a maximum acquisition limit.
If you fail to get a limited reward for 9 consecutive expeditions, you are guaranteed to receive one on the 10th. Once all the limited rewards on a level are obtained, you can proceed to the next level.
After earning all the limited rewards from all 5 levels, you can claim the ultimate prize. Claiming it resets all prize pools, allowing you to choose 1 new ultimate prize.
Some ultimate prizes have a maximum redemption limit.

Glorious Items (one-time offer) - 100 Galaxy Coins can be exchanged for a Military Strategist Historic General Chest.
- Glory Shop - Storm Shop
10,000 Storm Coins can be redeemed for a Military Strategist Historic General Chest, redeemable once per season.
- Valuable Event - Strategic Stockpile
1800 Stockpile Tickets can be exchanged for a Military Strategist Historic General Chest. Stockpile Tickets can be obtained by purchasing basic gems (packages).
- Event Center - Star Goddess's Box
The chest is in the collection prize pool of the Solar Box. Purchase packages to earn the Star Key, which can be used to draw rewards at the event.
During the event, there are only 4 Military Strategist Historic General Chests in the prize pool, shared by all players on a server. Therefore, if all four chests are drawn by other players, you will not be able to get one. You need to time your drawings carefully.
- Event Center - Revelry Carnival
600 Emerald Brooches can be exchanged for 1 Military Strategist Historic General Chest. This exchange can only be made once per event period.
You need to obtain Party Invitations from the Limited Time Revelry Carnival Package and celebration levels when the event opens. Then, you can receive the Emerald Brooch by consuming the Party Invitation.
